Surrendering a Beagle
We are very sorry you are considering surrendering your beagle. We know this is difficult and we will try to make the process as easy as possible. Although we try, unfortunately, we cannot take every beagle directly into the rescue. Intake decisions are made after reviewing the surrender form and photo and having a conversation with you. The decisions are based on many things including available foster homes.
Even if we can’t take your beagle into the rescue, we may be able to help.
We can courtesy list on our website and Facebook pages, give some guidance on other resources and review our applicant and wait lists to see if anyone is a good fit.
The first step is to submit the Surrender Application as completely and honestly as possible. This is the best way for us to get to know your beagle. It helps if we can understand the reasons behind the surrender and it helps us determine your dog’s future needs.
Instructions will be provided at the bottom of the application as to where to send photos.
Once we review your Surrender Application and photos, someone will contact you.
