About Happy Life Beagle Rescue
At Happy Life Beagle Rescue, our primary mission is to rescue beagles from various backgrounds.
Whether they have been abandoned, surrendered, or have severe medical conditions, we endeavor to provide initial care with an ultimate goal of placing them with loving, happy forever families.
Although our primary focus is rescuing southern dogs and placing them in the northeast, our mission includes all beagles, extending to all we are able to reach regardless of location or circumstance.
Happy Life Beagle Rescue is fully committed to providing all rescued Beagles with the care, compassion, and happy lives they deserve.
Who we are
Happy Life Beagle Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, is a 100% volunteer run rescue established in 2022. We're a new rescue, however, collectively our Adoption Counselors have been rescuing beagles for decades. All have experience with other rescues, as well as being beagle lovers and owners themselves. Currently, the core volunteers within the rescue have 15 beagles between them.
Our combined experience and knowledge about the breed provides us with a wealth of information to draw from to make the best placements possible, as well as offer support to our adopters.

A foster based rescue
Happy Life Beagle Rescue is a foster based rescue. We do not have a physical shelter where you can visit our dogs. All our dogs are in foster homes throughout the New England area or in the south waiting to be transported north.
If you’re lucky, your beagle might even help with the housekeeping!!
Our name and logo
Naming a rescue is harder than one might think! After considering several dozen names, we decided on Happy Life, as that is the heartfelt message each newly adopted beagle goes to their forever home with.
When a beagle is picked up by their new family, our founder can typically be seen kissing the beagle’s head and telling them to have a happy life!
The inspiration for our logo came from one of our founder’s favorite photos of her beagle, Emma, when she was a puppy.
