About: Dee Dee, or Birdie to her southern foster, is a sweet beagle with a great personality. She is super loving, loves to be loved on, really loves people and wants to hug everyone she meets. She is very affectionate and wonderful on a leash. Birdie has fully embraced life outside the shelter. She is very smart, has learned several commands and is house trained. She sits for treats and takes them gently.
Birdie is very playful, loving to run laps around the yard. She will do best with a fenced-in yard and another young playful dog. An active family would be a bonus. She is very affectionate, often stretching out on you to be loved. She could easily knock over a young child so she will not be placed in a home with children under 10 years old.
Birdie is being fostered south of Boston.
